COMMUNITY ART INITATIVES
Create Something. Make an Impact.
Creativity can do more than make something beautiful—it can encourage someone, brighten their day, and bring people together.
ArtLink’s Community Art Initiatives are free creative projects designed to make an impact in our community. Stop by ArtLink Studio during regular studio hours, choose an initiative, and create something meaningful. Some projects are shared throughout Clarksville, while others invite you to create, reflect, and inspire.
All Community Art Initiatives are free to participate in.
Want to partner with ArtLink? We love working with local organizations to find creative ways to give back and connect with our community. If your organization has an idea for a Community Art Initiative, we’d love to hear from you.
YAI PAK BUTTONS
Create a 1-inch button for YAI PAK to include on backpacks for children in foster care. Design something colorful, encouraging, or uplifting that reminds its recipient just how important they are.
It’s a small piece of art with a meaningful message—and an easy way to use your creativity to brighten someone’s day.
THE BLOOM PROJECT
Create a greeting card to add an extra touch of care to a beautiful bouquet. ArtLink provides handmade cards to The Bloom Project, which repurposes donated flowers into arrangements for individuals in nursing homes and hospitals.
Add a drawing, encouraging message, or a little bit of both. Your card will accompany a floral arrangement, helping brighten someone’s day and remind them that they are cared for.
LIBRARY BOOKMARKS
Add your creative touch to a bookmark for a fellow reader! Choose from one of our bookmark templates and color it in to make it your own.
Finished bookmarks are given to the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library, where they are randomly placed inside books for library visitors to discover—a little surprise waiting for someone during their next read.
PASSION CARDS
What are you passionate about? Write it down and keep your card as a motivating reminder of what inspires you.
Then, fill out a second card to leave with us. We’ll display it at ArtLink to share your passion and inspire others who visit the studio.

LOAVES AND FISHES
Bring some creativity to the table by designing a custom placemat for Loaves & Fishes.
Your artwork will accompany a meal and help add a little extra color, care, and encouragement to someone’s day.

PEACE ROCKS
Help us add a little creativity and kindness to Rotary Park! Paint a rock with a colorful design, positive message, or symbol of peace. The finished rocks will be placed around the Peace Pole at Rotary Park, creating a community-made display that celebrates peace, connection, and creativity.

COMMUNITY PROJECT
There’s always something new to create at ArtLink! Each month, we introduce a new free community art project designed to bring people together through creativity.
Projects change from month to month, so you can stop by throughout the year to create something new, contribute to a collaborative project, and make your mark on our community.
Stop in to see what we’re creating this month!

ARTLINK-2-GO BOXES
Think of a little free library—but for art! ArtLink 2-Go Boxes are located throughout the community and stocked with mini art kits, heartfelt encouragement cards, handmade creations, and other creative surprises. It’s a community-driven way to make art more accessible while spreading creativity and joy throughout Clarksville.
Stop by a box to take something to create or enjoy, or leave behind a small piece of art for someone else to discover. Our boxes are refilled weekly with new creative goodies for the community.

Help Keep Our Boxes Full
ArtLink-2-Go is powered by our community! You can help keep creativity moving by donating art supplies, volunteering in the studio to assemble mini art kits, or joining our street team to help refill boxes throughout Clarksville.
Every donated supply, assembled kit, and restocked box helps put free art into the hands of someone in our community.
