OUR STORY
PAST
ArtLink began as an idea among friends who saw a need in the community: a collaborative space where people could experience art for free. We gave that idea a name and ran with it. In 2012, ArtLink hosted a fashion and art show to raise funds and begin turning that vision into reality. Soon after, we became an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and began seeking spaces where our community could come together to create.
Local businesses opened their doors to us, allowing ArtLink to offer free art classes throughout the community. As participation grew, so did our programs. We expanded into larger spaces, introduced projects like mobile community murals, and began displaying collaborative artwork throughout the community.
It became more than another art class—it became a movement to inspire creativity, connection, and belonging through art.
Our team grew, too. What began as a small group of friends has developed into a dedicated team of leaders, volunteers, and a Board of Directors who continue to advance the mission and vision established by ArtLink founder Maria Haycraft.
PRESENT
Today, ArtLink moved into brick-and-mortar where we can bring many of our programs together under one roof while continuing to take art directly into the community through outreach programs, mobile pop-ups, and community partnerships.
In January 2026, ArtLink welcomed Jayla Eubanks as Executive Director, marking a new chapter for the organization as we continue to grow our programs, partnerships, and presence in the community.
Collaboration remains at the heart of what we do. ArtLink works alongside local businesses, organizations, schools, government partners, and community groups to expand access to creative experiences throughout Clarksville-Montgomery County. Our partnerships and sponsorships also give businesses and organizations meaningful opportunities to invest in and give back to the community.
As our reach grows, so does our team. ArtLink provides opportunities for people to get involved in many ways, including internships, community service, volunteering, and leadership. Whether someone wants to create, serve, learn, or lead, there is a place for them to be part of ArtLink.
FUTURE
ArtLink has never stopped growing—and we don't plan to.
What began as an idea among friends has grown into a community organization with a permanent home, expanding programs, community-wide events, outreach initiatives, and partnerships throughout the region.
Our future is about reaching more people, creating more opportunities, and continuing to remove barriers to experiencing art. As our community grows alongside us, we will continue exploring new ways to make creativity accessible, bring people together, and create spaces where everyone has the opportunity to participate.
The spaces may change and the programs may grow, but the heart of ArtLink will remain the same: making art accessible and building community through creativity.
