Every Sunday, ArtLink Studio welcomes active-duty service members, veterans, and military families to create, connect, and spend time together through Battle Buddy Arts.
This two-hour creative experience is a chance to slow down, try something new, and make something meaningful—not only for yourself, but for someone else in our community.
No previous art experience is needed. Just come ready to create!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Each Battle Buddy Arts session begins with a relaxing water-painting exercise using one of our Dream Boards—a simple way to settle in, experiment with color, and get into a creative mindset.
Then, choose two projects to make during your session:

Our team provides the materials and helps you along the way, so you can focus on creating and enjoying your time in the studio. Before the session ends, you’ll also create a card for someone who could use a little encouragement. Cards may be shared with veterans, seniors, hospital patients, or others in our community—turning a little creativity into a way to brighten someone else’s day.
Sessions are approximately two hours.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Battle Buddy Arts is open to active-duty service members, veterans, and their families.
Whether you create all the time or haven’t picked up an art supply in years, you’re welcome here. No previous art experience is needed. Battle Buddy Arts is about more than making art—it’s a space to slow down, connect, spend time with family, and experience the restorative power of creativity.
Not everyone has to create, either. If your child or another family member wants to participate while you simply spend time together and enjoy the space, you’re welcome to do that too.
