Weaving Workshop

Weaving is a centuries old practice that you can now learn from the comfort of the ArtLink Studio. This is a single person class where you will work on a 4-shaft table loom similar to the centuries old floor looms still making fabric today.

In this workshop, you will learn how to dress the loom and operate it to create a sample which we then will turn into a wall hanging that you can keep forever. You will learn how to do a plain weave as well as some specialty patterns and stripes.

Some preparation will need to be completed before you attend the workshop, so if you have color preferences please contact the host Alexandra and she will attempt to accommodate your preference.
