Quilt Block Techniques: Square in Square & Chain

In this hands-on quilting class, participants will learn two versatile quilt block techniques: Square in Square and Chain. You’ll be guided step-by-step through the full process of creating these blocks, including fabric cutting, accurate piecing, and finishing your quilt top.

The Chain block introduces working with squares, rectangles, and triangles, while also covering essential skills such as piecing sequence, maintaining consistent seam allowances, pressing for accuracy, chain sewing, and assembling blocks into a cohesive layout. By the end of class, you’ll have completed two beautiful block styles and gained techniques you can use in future quilting projects.
