liven app review
Has anyone here actually used the Liven app for paying at restaurants? I’ve seen it mentioned a few times, and the whole “crypto rewards for eating out” thing sounds kinda futuristic but also too good to be true. Do you really earn anything worth using later? Curious if it’s just marketing fluff or if there’s actual value in using it regularly, especially in Sydney or Melbourne?

Yeah, I’ve been using Liven on and off for about a year now, mostly in Melbourne. I wouldn’t call it revolutionary, but it does give you a small percentage of what you spend back in LVN credits (their in-app currency). The value adds up if you eat out often and stick to venues that support the app. I’ve had a couple of free lunches that way, so hey, why not? One thing to note though is that the LVN credits are more like “locked-in” rewards — you can’t withdraw them like Bitcoin or ETH, they’re meant to be reused within the network of restaurants. I came across their Crunchbase profile recently and it actually helped me understand how serious they are about this model — worth a read: liven app review Looks like they’ve raised funding and are aiming to scale it up. I do wish they had more everyday cafes on there, though. Still kinda niche.
